Answer:

VCU is sought after the four-year post college program in general dentistry - the Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). For Virginia residents, the 4-year total tuition fee is $166, 460, with $369,423 cost of attendance that covers all direct, required, and indirect charges. The non-Virginia residents, it is $293,300 and 498,410 for tuition fee and cost of attendance, respectively.

The cost of attendance includes the University Fee, Technology Fee, Library, Health, Student Activity, Academic, Clinic, Medical Insurance, Books and Supplies, Licensure, Graduation Regalia, lodging, transportation, and other miscellaneous fees your whole stay.

Aside from the D.D.S, the institution offers advanced dental education programs where those enrolled would be full-time resident trainees, equivalent to full-time students. Those enrolled in the programs complete concurrently the Master of Science in Dentistry and the certificate program of their choice. All of the fees, scholarships, and stipends are program-dependent. For example, the 12-month or 24 month Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program has no tuition and fees, and those accepted receive a stipend of $32,000. For the other programs, like the Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Endodontics, and Orthodontics, the VCU Board of Visitors annually establish the rates for the programs. For those enrolling in July 2021, the cost of attendance will not exceed $30,000.
