Answer:

An LVN (licensed vocational nurse) will need to enroll in Unitek College's BSN program in order to pursue an RN (registered nurse) license. This is intended to be a three year program for those without any prior nursing education and licensing, but LVNs can qualify for admittance as Advanced Placement to finish in two years, provided they are able to transfer general educational credits as well as their LVN courses. Graduates will then be prepared to sit for the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) and apply for an RN license.

Unitek also offers a vocational nursing (VN) diploma and an associate of science in nursing (ASVN). While there are some schools that offer an associate's degree that prepares students to take the NCLEX-RN and apply for an RN license, Unitek's ASVN degree program is designed to enhance an LVN's education and skills, further preparing them to enter Unitek's BSN program.
