The duration of the MBA program at the University Of Phoenix changes as per the type of the program. The University of Phoenix offers two types of MBA programs:
1. Master in Business Administration
2. Master in Business Administration: Competency-based
The university structured the basic MBA program for 16 months, but the MBA: Competency-based (CB) program is for 12 months. The typical MBA program helps to provide business skills to the students. On the other hand, the MBA: CB is for professional students with experience in the business field.
Students can complete the usual MBA program through online education or at the university's campus. The MBA: CB program is available only on the online medium of the university. Students may apply for any of the two MBA programs, but the total credits of 33 are the same for both programs. The cost per credit is different for both programs as the traditional MBA program per credit cost is $698, and the MBA: CB per credit cost is $300.
