Answer:

Although most graduate students take approximately 2 years to complete a master's degree program, a student enrolled in a 30-credit program can obtain their degree in as little as 1 year or as many as 6 years. For eager, determined graduate students with less-demanding, flexible schedules, taking the maximum amount of credit hours per semester will expedite the process. Based on the university, students can typically take up to 15 credit hours (during fall and spring semesters) without needing special permission. Assuming that an individual takes 15 credits for 2 semesters (for a 30-credit program), he or she can earn their master's degree in 1 year. On the other hand, some graduate students would like to maintain their current, full-time job/career, so enrolling as a part-time student is often the most feasible option for them. For students who only want to take two classes (i.e., 6 credit hours) per semester, it will take them approximately 5 years to earn their master's degree.
