The Certified Senior Consultant or Advisor (CSC or CSA) certification is valid for three years. After these three years, you will need to get a renewal on your certification. To get this renewal you will need to fulfill certain requirements. First, you will need to pay a renewal fee which can be divided into three parts and be paid each year of the three-year period. After paying the required fees, you will need to undergo a criminal background check.
Lastly, the most important requirement to get a renewal of your CSC certification is to accumulate 30 Continuing Education (CE) credits. These credits have to be earned while your certification is still valid. If you fail to earn these credits before the three-year period is complete, your certification will be revoked. You will have to submit the necessary documentation to prove you successfully completed these credits.
After getting these requirements, your certification will be renewed for three more years.
