Answer:

The Professional Research Certificate is a well-respected credential within the world of research practice. The PRC proves your awareness of the research industry's ethics, standards and practices and is an indicator of your knowledge and professionalism.

Having a PRC means that you are well-aware of the marketing research and analytics industry's best practices.

The certifying organization for the PRC is the Insights Association so most details can be found on their website. In order to take the PRC you will need at least an associate degree, more than two years of work experience and passing of a few oral or written exams.

To qualify for the PRC exam you will need to pass the requisite 12 education credits first. Furthermore, to prepare for the exam you can use the PRC Test Prep Online Course sponsored by the Insights Association.

After, you will need to schedule your exam available online with at least 48h before taking it, and/or during any Insights Association conference with at least three weeks in advance. If you pass the exam you will become authorized to create a PRC profile with the Insights Association and utilize the PRC logo/mark online.
