Answer:
By completing the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification you will demonstrate that you have successfully completed a wide-ranging curriculum in the fundamentals of compensation management, including how to integrate compensation programs with business strategy, design and administer pay programs, and effectively communicate compensation information. The Certified Compensation Professional designation is granted by WorldatWork, the gold standard for professional development in compensation and rewards.
To become a Certified Compensation Professional, you will need to pass ten exams that cover the knowledge and skills required of compensation professionals, including job analysis, base pay administration, market pricing, variable pay, accounting, quantitative analysis, and regulatory compliance. You can complete the associated coursework in any of the following ways:
- Traditional classroom: You can complete a traditional instructor-led course conducted over two days
- Virtual classroom: You can complete a two-day online course with live instruction and participant interaction
- Self-study: You can complete an independent study program using pre-recorded materials.
You can also pass the exams using experiential knowledge by opting not to attend one or more classes. However, it is recommended to complete the coursework and then sit for the exams.
