Answer:

Stanford University, in tandem with Stanford Health, offers a nurse residency, or new graduate RN program, for students who have recently completed an accredited, in-person Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. This means you cannot have graduated from an online program if you plan to apply. You must also hold a valid California nursing license that is in good standing. You cannot be admitted if you have previously done paid work as a registered nurse (RN) and you must be willing to commit to the program for a minimum of 18 weeks. There are three cohorts each year - Spring, Summer, and Fall - each with their own set of deadlines for applications, interviews, and acceptance. It is very important that you follow the guideline for your desired cohort in order to have the best chance at admission.
