Answer:

The University of Florida (UF) does not offer a master' s degree program in nursing. It provides a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Sciences. The BSN has three different tracks that consist of the traditional BSN, the accelerated BSN and the registered nurse (RN) to BSN. Students may choose any of these opportunities to earn a BSN and get certified.

UF also offers a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) that is designed for individuals who hold a BSN and those who have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and an active Florida license. These professionals may follow the BSN to DNP track or the MSN to DNP track to earn a doctoral degree to advance their careers and provide a quality health care to patients. The PhD in Nursing Sciences is more oriented on research and trains professionals who will engage in a thorough research to improve nursing practice and health care in general.
