Does OSHA 10-Hour certification expire?

Answer:

OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) issues certificates and wallet cards to those who complete a 10-hour training course in either construction or general industry. The training must be through an official OSHA authorized trainer, and can be done online or in-person. OSHA considers the 10-hour training to be voluntary, so there is not an expiration date. However, some industries, agencies, states, cities, and employers require OSHA training and will set an expiration and renewal date. There are no existing official OSHA renewal courses, which means the employee will have to re-take the initial training course if an expiration date applies. If a card is lost or damaged, the only option for re-issue is to go through the original trainer or online training company. If more than three years has passed since training was completed, OSHA will not allow a card to be re-issued and the training course will then have to be repeated.
