No, the Olin College of Engineering does not offer students the option to apply using either early decision or early action. All prospective students must submit either the Common Application or the Coalition Application along with the Olin supplemental questions and application fee by the deadline, which is January 4th. By mid-February, applicants will be notified if they achieved what is called "Candidate" status. About 225-250 applicants are invited to attend Candidates Weekends, which are an opportunity to learn more about academic and student life at Olin. Final admission and financial aid notifications are mailed and posted online around late March. Admitted students then have until May 1st, the national reply deadline, to notify Olin of their intent to enroll.

In order to be considered for admission to Olin College of Engineering, students must submit their application, application fee or fee waiver request, high school transcript, school report form, counselor recommendation form, two teacher evaluations with letters of recommendation, current senior grades, and SAT or ACT scores (which are currently temporarily suspended for fall 2022 enrollment).
