Does KPMG help employees pay to get an MBA degree?
Question:
Does KPMG help employees pay to get an MBA degree?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
Yes, KPMG does sponsor employees to get an MBA degree. In 2018, the company paid for 135 people to get a master's degree. The amount was fully paid for, and the arising tax liabilities were also catered for. Whereas this is one of the best deals an employer can extend to its employees, KPMG's sponsorship comes with a catch. After you are done with the graduate studies, the company retains for three years as their employee. Should you wish to join a different company immediately after graduation, the organization requires that you pay back 100% of the investment it made in your education. Failure to do this will result in legal action from the firm. This is a strategic move made by the organization to make sure that they retain employees. However, after the three years are over, an employee can opt to remain in the organization or leave without paying back anything to the organization. If you want to leave at some point, it is better to wait for the three years to elapse.
