Answer:

Yes, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a new graduate RN program, or nurse residency program. It is a full-time, salaried position classified as "Clinical Nurse I". It is a twelve month program. Participants will be required to attend monthly workshops and completed 24 clinical orientation shifts. The residency lasts a year, but you will be required to sign a two-year employment contract with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center upon acceptance of the program. After completing the program, you may be able to earn a promotion based on your participation. The hospital offers four cohorts per year - winter, spring, summer, and fall - and accepts a maximum of 200 applications per cohort. Applications are typically due two months before the program begins. It is important to remember that you are ineligible to participate in a nurse residency program if you have already worked professionally as a registered nurse.
