Graduating from a Master in Business Administration is a big deal and can certainly get you a promotion if you are already a working professional or push your career forward if you are currently job-seeking.

However, an MBA should find itself on your resume, as well as in conversations and interviews. Putting you MBA achievement after your name on a business card might seem a little odd for some and for some even annoying.

The main reason for this is that MBA is different from PhD or Doctor, Engineer, etc. Business administration does not require a license to practice, credentials or specific training. Using the MBA title in any situation might make employers question your credibility and confidence and will bring the opposite effect of that you wish for.

As a general rule, it is not common practice to put your MBA after your name. When it comes to your business card, you might put as your title Business Consultant, Business Professionals or any other title that speaks of your knowledge and might give a hint you are educated at MBA-level.
