Question:
Do you need a CNA license to be a caregiver?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
The caregiver or home health aide does not require to get a CNA license. Still, the state authority controls any other license requirement, so in some states, a person may require any other license. The CNA license may not require the caregiver, but the certified nurse assistant can become a caregiver. As per the job, the caregivers can complete their high school diploma as the specific degree might not need for this position. The caregiver who works with the agencies funded by medicare needs to show different potential with the training completion period record and score in the state certification. The training and passing the exam is the procedure for hiring under the aide's employment. The requirement may not require for hiring in private companies. The caregiver can get certification in first aid or CPR. The certification they may acquire through the recognized body such as National Association For Home Care & Hospice.
