If you want to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree but aren't able to take a full load of classes, look into part-time MBA programs. These degree paths still confer a standard MBA degree after completion, but they are designed with a busy working professional's schedule in mind. Such programs may exclusively offer night and weekend classes as well as digital or distance learning options. Additionally, standard MBA programs may allow you to take one class at a time instead of a full load of classes. Other MBA schools require students to take a minimum course load each semester, so check with your prospective schools to learn more about their policies.

You can also consider executive MBA (EMBA) programs. Like part-time MBA programs, these courses are designed around working students. The main difference is that EMBA programs are usually accelerated so that students can finish their entire program in a shorter period. Some EMBA programs can be completed in a year. By contrast, part-time MBA programs usually take much longer to finish than by studying full-time.
