The VA pays Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) to students using th Post- 9-11 G.I. Bill.

The Veteran's Administration (VA) calls BAH Monthly Housing Allowance, at a rate of $916.50 per month for students in completely online courses..Those in part time enrollment will have their MHA prorated based on the percentage of full time enrollment, to the nearest ten percent. For example, those enrolled 57% of the time will recieve 60% of MHA, while those enrolled for 74% of full time enrollment will receive 70% of MHA. Those attending courses at half time or less cannot receive MHA. The VA has information on eligibility, what payments each VA program makes, and VA programs that can provide additional funding for education. The VA will reimburse the cost of online schooling for those Using Post- 9-11 benefits, and 55% of the cost if using other G.I. Bill benefits.
