Question:

Can you get a bachelor's degree in the Air Force?

Perfect School Search

Answer:

The Air Force provides community college credits towards a bachelor's degree for those who are Airmen. Using the Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC), prospective students can use the center to find degrees, developed and organized by the Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC), that are best suited for their needs. The AFVEC also provides virtual counseling and tuition assistance. In order to partake in the program, applicants must be active members of the Air Force, but can complete their degree after a member has been discharged from the service. A great benefit to the AFVEC and AU-ABC is that degrees approved by the program require the student to take the class completely online, allowing a student to complete courses even if they are deployed. According to Military.com, the Air Force currently offers 71 bachelor's degree options.
