Can I get CPT full-time practice during an MBA course?

Most Master's of Business Administration programs are full time. As such, it may be difficult to do both full time MBA study as well as full-time Curricular Practical Training. However, there are part-time options, both for many CPT schedules and MBA programs. While this will extend the time to completion for your degree, it would allow you to more effectively distribute your commitments. The best way to determine an appropriate work load would be to work out a schedule to see what kind of work-study balance you can expect.

You might also want to consider being open to any career exploration offered through recruiting at your program. You can take the time during the MBA to gain lots of different experiences, both to help you hone in your own career path, but also make you more marketable to future employers. You also might want to take opportunities like informational interviews, networking events outside of school, volunteering in the community, partnering with a professor on research, and the like. Making the most of all the opportunities the MBA course itself has to offer depends on a good time management.
