Answer:
To go to medical school, you will first need to get a bachelor's degree. Even though there is no specific bachelor's degree to apply to medical school, there are some recommended majors. Degrees in chemistry, biology, and biochemistry, will enable you to apply to medical school. There are also some humanities and social sciences degrees that will allow you to pursue this career path. Majors like psychology, sociology, English, are also common for students that want to go through medical education and training. Computer science is not a common major to go to medical school. However, since there is no specific degree to do this, you might be able to get into medical school with a computer science degree. You will have to make sure that you are fulfilling the required courses for your prospective medical schools. These required courses often vary across schools, nevertheless, courses like chemistry, biology, and physics are common. If your computer science program offers the necessary courses, you will be able to go to med school.
