The Olin Business School's nearly 800 undergraduate business students can specialize in one of nine majors, but are expected to take courses from all of the different tracks. Since 40% of an undergraduate's credits come from courses outside of the business school, students can obtain a minor, second major, or even a second undergraduate degree from a different school at Washington University. Students also have the option to begin a master's degree program while still finishing the B.S. in Business Administration. Business classes are kept small and are taught by the 127 faculty members, many of whom hold prestigious awards. Students and alumni can take advantage of several centers for career planning and development, a large business library, and conference center. Alumni stay connected through online social media and a networking database.

Students at the Cook School of Business can pursue two of the nine concentrations offered for the B.S. in Business Administration. In addition to an area of concentration, students select a supporting area of business to broaden and diversify their areas of expertise. The Service Leadership Program and Sustainable Business Practices Program give Cook School students the ability to give back to others in their community by using the skills that they learn in school. Study abroad opportunities include eight international school partnerships and a two-week course in Panama over winter break.

The B.S. in Business Administration at Maryville University is a general business degree that covers a range of business administration topics. Electives must be from two or more of the following areas: accounting, business, economics, finance, information systems, management or marketing. Class scheduling is flexible since courses are available at night and on weekends. Students can also begin their MBA while still an undergrad by applying up to 12 graduate level credit hours toward their bachelor's and master's degrees.
