Hawaii Community College's Adult Education Programs

Hawaii Community College is located in Hilo, HI, and offers continuing education and training programs. The school also offers several online courses in a variety of areas, including business, language and arts and technology.

Basic Computer Skills

This course is available to train students in basic computer skills from using the mouse to moving files to performing internet searches. Students who enroll in this course must have the ability to type.

Security Guard Training

This training program requires an 8-hour classroom instruction course, as well as 4-hour training every other year. Graduates receive a certificate. The biannual continuing education course covers topics in ethics, active shooter, fire safety and more.

Health Care Certificates
