ActionScript programmers, also referred to as ASP developers or engineers, are specific types of computer software engineers who utilize Flash technology and ActionScript to design, code and implement Web applications, programs, images and solutions. Work includes the development of user interface elements, games and custom graphics. Many ActionScript programmers work for Web development firms, media companies and software companies. Common duties of ActionScript programmers include identifying and defining projects, brainstorming ideas, planning, designing, writing and testing code, reviewing implementations and troubleshooting.
